Kintsugi-Inspired Restoration Classes

Kintsugi-Inspired Restoration Classes

Duration:
2 hours
£45.00
per person

Your favourite vase had an accident? Are you crying about your broken teacup? Repair it with me!

Kintsugi means "to join with gold" and is a Japanese technique for restoring broken ceramic pieces, creating purely ornamental items.

During this workshop, you will repair your piece and decorate it afterwards with golden dust. We do not do real kintsugi! We are not using real gold for this workshop.

If you don't have a broken piece, do not worry, we will provide you a ceramics that you can smash and then repair!

Please refer to Class Calendar for available dates or if you are interested in different date, please contact [email protected] to discuss that.

You can also hire me to run this workshop if you organise a party, have a larger group or would like it to happen at your venue within Oxford or its surroundings.
